Big update in Kolkata Metro before Puja! Now Beleghata station is going
to be added to the metro map.
2/6 Orange Line Metro till Beleghata
The Orange Line Metro is likely to start passenger services up to
Beleghata station before Puja. Kolkata Metro is sending an application to the
Railway Board in this regard.
3/6 Orange Line Metro till Beleghata
Inspection by Commissioner of Railway Safety has been done. There were
some technical issues. After overcoming them, the metro will probably be
started up to Beleghata before Puja.

Calcutta Metro Rail CPRO Kaushik Mitra gave a hopeful message about the resumption of services on the remaining section of Hemant Mukhopadhyay to Beleghata.

It is to be noted that extended services have started in Orange Line
Metro from yesterday. The passengers demanded that the train should start from
8 am.

Similarly, the service has been started every 20 minutes from Monday to
